We ensure that all your car servicing needs are met at Small Car Liverpool, and at a quality that you would expect. Whilst we are aware that car ownership brings with it many costs, a service cost that is priced in a range which is affordable and you know that you are going to get the best deal in terms of expected value and overall satisfaction.
 

We currently offer 3 service packages which are tailored to the small economic car range. These can be defined as such;
 

Saftey Check ~ Winter/Summer Check:
Our lowest cost safety check of £45.00 which includes all your basic needs and a safety check over which will keep safe
you on the road.Your lights, levels and tyre pressures will be checked and you will be notified if you require bulbs or
top ups on your oil, water or any other fluids. Your brakes will be visually checked and your engine bay will be inspected for
any loose pipes, missing parts and will be cleaned and lubricated.
We recommend this check-over: Every 3months OR 3,000 miles OR between Medium/Full Services OR before long journeys
Average time to complete: 20-30minutes
 

Small Service (Intermediate): 
Our intermediate service is great value for money. At £99.00 your small car will be lifted and all wheels will be removed.
A thorough brakes inspection will be carried out, you will be notified of any worn brake pads or disks. Brakes will be
adjusted if required and painted back to calliper silver (or colour matched if preferred). Engine under panels will be
removed and we will drain your old engine oil from your system. Your oil filter will be removed and replaced with a brand new filter. Your car will have high spec oil replaced into your system. Your air and fuel filter will also be replaced. Your car will also undergo a road test before and after. Finally, a quick hoover and wash down if required. There are over 60 items that will be checked in our intermediate service.
We recommend this service: Every 6months OR 6,000 miles OR between Full Services
Average time to complete: 1-2hours
 

Full Service (The Works):
Our BEST value service if you haven’t had a service for a while. At £145.00 your small car will be put on the ramp and your
engine panels will be removed. All 4 wheels will be removed, your brake pads will be removed, your disks will be inspected
(we will inform you if they need replacing) and pads will be replaced. Your brakes will be adjusted if required and painted
back to calliper silver (or colour matched if preferred). All filters will be removed and your engine oil will be drained. Your Oil, Fuel, Air (and cabin) filters will be replaced with genuine parts. High spec oil will be added back to your engine. If required, gearbox oil will be topped up. Your timing belt/casing area will be inspected and reported on. Visual checks on suspension, springs, drive shaft, cv joints and link arms and reported on if required or any play. Reports on leaks/pipes/loose parts/damaged or missing parts. All internal electrical items are tested and checked including ACC/Conditioning levels. Your car will also undergo a road test before and after. Finally, your car will be valeted inside and out – hovered, dashboard cleaned, windows cleaned and an outside soapy wash and leather. There are over 120 items that will be checked in our full service.
We recommend this service: Every 12months OR 12,000 miles OR if your car hasn’t had a full service in over 12months
Average time to complete: 3-4hours

MOT test:
We currently offer a MOT check over and MOT test for ONLY £25.00 (inc VAT). Our MOT check over consists of a list of items which are included on the MOT which are most likely to fail on at the actual MOT test. We do this test so that YOU don’t have any unexpected downtime while your car is with us. This allows us to tell the MOT inspector that we are aware of any faults we may find and will do the necessary repairs once it returns to our workshop.
Average time to complete: 1-2hours

 

Courtesy Car:
While your car is at our workshop having a Service, in for Repair or MOT we would like to offer you a FREE OF CHARGE loan car to use around the Liverpool Area (50mile radius) to keep you mobile. All we ask is that you are covered on your own insurance (Third Party Fire & Theft), sign before you leave and put at least £10.00 of fuel for your own use.












 

Breakdown Pick-up/Deliver:
For a small fee or SEE OUR WARRANTY page, we can collect your car if you breakdown or have engine trouble within a 20mile radius. With our new vehicle transporter THERE IS NO MIDDLE MAN. We will pick up your car and take it directly to our workshops for repair or diagnostics. Once we have located your problem we will call you to keep you informed of any additional costs.
